PSG Grant FAQs
PSG or Productivity Solutions Grant is a subsidy program by Enterprise Singapore (ESG) that helps retail, food, logistics, precision engineering, construction, and other industries through subsidy.
A supporting document is required for every official application. You’ll need the following documents for the PSG application:
- Purchase Order or signed acceptance of Quotation/ Contract
- Invoice
- Screenshots that show the company’s name and the name of the IT solution
- License number(s) of software with a minimum of one-month usage report
- Receipt or copy of cheque payment
- Bank statement showing the payment
Regrettably, no. All IT solutions must be purchased after the application deadline to qualify for the Productivity Solutions Grant. The application must be submitted before the solutions provider signs the invoice, quotation, or engagement letter, before payment is made to the solutions provider, and before any project work begins.
To qualify for the PSG grant, you should be a Singapore-based SME looking for IT solutions like our eCommerce website development with at least 30% local shareholding with over six months of operation
You can still apply for the PSG if your startup hasn’t been operating for six months, but your application will be evaluated by Enterprise Singapore (ESG).
It depends on your needs; you can submit multiple PSG applications, but it should only be one package per solution category or location deployment.
Applications that fall under multiple applications are:
- New purchase of equipment or IT solution
- Extra purchase of the IT solution for a different department or location
The PSG grant cap is S$30,000. And it is imposed on each business supported by ESG, beginning on April 1 and running through March 31 of the following year.
The application is processed within six weeks of receiving all necessary information.
Companies are strongly encouraged to submit their applications in advance to account for the outcome and the required processing time.
Before the application’s outcome is finalized, companies can move forward with the project and purchase the equipment/IT solution. Your claim will be barred from ever being filed again if your application is rejected.
You must wait until the grant cap refreshes. When making purchases, keep in mind that you’ll be making use of the PSG. So it’s best always to plan your business expenses.
You can expect to receive your money within 14 working days of submitting your GIRO form if your claim has been approved.
