We’ve repeated it countless times, but the content is king regarding SEO.
Google has never downplayed the value of content. But the value of high-quality material tends to rise in importance as a ranking criterion.
Here’s where you respond, “Okay! But how will high-quality SEO material be presented in 2022?
I reply, “Let me expose you to the recipe for good content as if you were in your kitchen preparing a delectable food.”
1 – Include A Sufficient Amount Of Keywords In Your Post
The first step is to decide which high-quality keywords will form the core of your essay. Get your hands on keywords with moderate keyword difficulty and substantial search volumes. For quicker results, feel free to target long-tail keywords.
Using a tool like Semrush, you may start from a topic you have in mind by looking at search volumes for particular keywords. Alternatively, you can use your preferred keyword research tool to investigate the possibilities for a specific topic.
For instance, I didn’t do anything original to develop the idea for this post. Simply entering “SEO” into my tool did the trick.
After spending five minutes examining the possibilities, the theme was discovered by filtering the keywords.

Once you’ve located your primary question, search for supporting queries to help establish your semantics. Semrush produced intriguing information to add to my post after researching the term “optimise SEO content.”
After you’ve created your keyword list, incorporate it into your content. Repeating them at the start of each phrase wouldn’t be helpful. Just make sure they organically exist in the page’s main HTML tags and the body text.
This is the ideal method for SEO (search engine optimization).
Finally, keep your post’s keyword density between 2% and 5% of its entire word count.
2 – Add Title & Meta Descriptions To Everything
Let’s start cooking now that you have the necessary tools.
Before writing your post’s body of text, pay attention to two of the most popular SEO tags: the title tag and the meta-description tag.
The plan is to stuff them full of your primary keywords by Google’s requirements.
3 – Include Explicit Hn Tags In the Post’s Structure.
The recipe’s actual ingredients are beginning to come into focus.
I like to start optimizations when I write SEO content by drafting Hn tags.
The titles of the various portions of your material are reflected in the Hn tags. There are six in total, with the H1 label being the most significant and the H6 title is the least effective.
In contrast to the other tags, which may have several instances, the H1 title is typically unique. Depending on the significance of the material, we frequently employ H1, H2, H3, or even H4 tags. You can increase your Hn tags by adding more subparts. H5 and H6 are only used if you publish a nuclear physics essay online.
Web Developer is the ideal tool for instantly seeing the Hn tags on any web page.
If you look attentively, you will see that these Hn tags combine the previously discussed searched keywords and phrases that emerged organically.
The final advice is to use keywords to enhance your Hn tags but ensure they are pertinent to the reader.
4 – Reintroduce The Photos With Plenty Of Alt Tags
A good SEO post should ideally have a few photos connected to your main topic.
Optimise their weight and size to ensure your site loads as quickly as possible. When titling your photographs, use lowercase letters, no accents, and the dash (-) to separate words.
Above all, pay attention to the alt tags on your photographs.
When an image cannot be loaded, the alt tag is displayed as an alternate description. You can categorise your photographs by including one or more pertinent keywords in the alt tag.
5 – Season With Pertinent Material
After verifying your Hn structure, you have the article’s framework! Write down the contents of the various components at this point.
More than adding more frequently searched terms should be your aim. Ineffective for the previous 15 years, this method has. You must maintain a balanced ratio between the many parts of your content, including:
- A keyword search,
- Rich and educational content, preferably extensive and pertinent (minimum 500 words or more, depending on the competition).
The average word count in 2022 varies depending on the type of page:
- Product/collection pages must be 350 words or less, service pages must be 500 words or less, and blog posts must be 700 words or more.
The objective is to please both your visitors and the indexing robots. Your material must provide the details they are looking for, and please provide them with as many pertinent facts as possible to encourage conversion.
This holds for e-commerce sites and sites designed to generate leads (forms, calls, etc.).
Optimise the content of your services, blog, and home pages first when creating a lead-generation website. For a commercial website, draw attention to the texts on your category and product pages and any potential blog articles.
6 – Serve everything accompanied by semantic keywords
Keywords aid algorithms in comprehending your site’s content more effectively. They make up the article’s lexical field.
Assuming that my primary keyword for the current post is “How to optimise an SEO post?” then my semantic refers to anything even vaguely related to this subject:
Title, Meta-description, Hn Tags, Keywords, Quantity of Keywords, Alt Tag, Search Engines, Interlinks
Using all these semantic search terms will improve Google’s comprehension of the article’s main subject.
Of course, relevant and illuminating sentences will give these semantic keywords more weight.
7 – Immerse Your Content In A Pool Of Backlinks
Internal linking is a crucial component of SEO.
The crawlers follow each link created between your website’s pages. The text links you make in your articles and your menu and footer are crucial. They aid indexing and assist in letting robots understand the content of your sites.
So could you show them some affection?
Avoid using generic link anchors like “click here” or “find out more,” with a few exceptions. Instead, summarise the subject covered in the article you are connecting to.
8 – To Highlight Your Keywords in HTML, Use The Bold & Italic Styles
A semantic HTML tag is a substantial tag whose purpose is to indicate that the information included is crucial to understanding the text’s meaning. This tag bolds the words it contains by default, and they gain visual importance as a result.
Use it to emphasise how vital your primary, secondary, and semantic keywords are. To avoid over-optimization, avoid making your keywords bold every time they occur. A good ratio is one or two boldings per important keyword.
The same idea applies to the em (italic) tag, which will instead emphasise the significance of the linguistic area related to your theme.
9. Keep It Relevant
You are now fully equipped to create SEO-friendly content.
But I do have one more crucial piece of advice for you.
While it is true that content that has been created from the beginning with SEO in mind can offer you steady traffic, the material’s freshness is equally crucial.
Be open to constantly publishing fresh content and routinely updating your current information (via a blog, for example). Google adores current and recent material, which lets consumers know that your website is active and current. On the other hand, a website that has never been updated will typically receive fewer “crawler” visits and hence fall in ranking.
